Permaculture Convergences / Conferences
Great wisdom Skeeeta. The 12th European Convergence in a small village outside Kasel in Germany attended by many across Europe finished last week. The week earlier saw the first Mediteranean Conference, held in Turkey.
I agree absolutely with all your points but would like to reinforce the Cross Pollination point. I’m from New Zealand spent a lot of time in Australia and consult world wide on many many varied projects at many different levels. I also see a lot of mistakes and very poor design by so called PC experts flaunting their evangelism. I feel it so very valuable to absorb all the values of the cross connections and face to face involvement. I’ve been commenting on the evolution of the global structure of Permaculture and how it could function to serve all elements. This is one reason I support the development of Continental Regional Conferences and have offered this support comment for a Nth American Conference. Dakota sounds interesting…seems we’ll have a few trees to plant as an integral component. IPC 11 in Cuba Nov-Dec 2013 is loooking gooood. Steve Hart
